Police Violence in Canada: Where do we go from here?

On March 12, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., the Law Union of Ontario is hosting a panel with the U of T Law Union to discuss police violence in the Canadian context. This will also include the panelists’ thoughts on various solutions, including alternatives to the police, that could be used to end police violence.

Location: University of Toronto, Victoria College, Room 213

Nader Hasan (Ruby Shiller Chan Hasan Barristers; Professor, University of Toronto Faculty of Law)
Anthony Morgan (Policy & Research Lawyer at the African Canadian Legal Clinic; Board Member of the Urban Alliance on Race Relations)
Yolen Bollo-Kamara ( Black Lives Matter-Toronto Coalition; President of the University of Toronto Students’ Union (UTSU))
Ellie Adekur-Carlson (Chair, Network for the Elimination of Police Violence)
